Charlie Khoury has two Sydney 300 starts to his name, having lined up in 2021 and 2022. His return in 2024 is one of dual-purpose. He’ll race in the 77-lap spectacular itself, hopeful of improving on a best result of 13th outright (2022), and he’s also signed on as the latest sponsor of the event, throwing his support behind Division E.

This is the division where the BMW E36 drivers – led by David Bailey – will ply their trade. Bailey has three division podium finishes to his name, in as many starts (he missed the 2022 edition). Two of those podium appearances came from starts in Division E, including victory (and an impressive 20th outright), alongside Anthony Soole here in 2019.
Yes, it’s the slowest class in the field, but these cars are among some of the most reliable that’ll you see lining up, at Sydney Motorsport Park, on May 18.
Michael Ricketts and Josh Haynes are the defending champions in Division E – it was a second division win in as many years for the pair, after claiming Division D honours in 2022.
FUN FACT: Last year marked the first time that the Division E winning margin was under a lap.
