In addition to the tremendous support from naming rights sponsor Pitcher Partners, Motor Racing Australia is excited to announce that the 2024 edition of the Sydney 300 will see competitors vying for prize money, in both the afternoon qualifying session, and the 77-lap race.
2024 marks the fifth staging of this race, which has become the signature event of the MRA calendar, and when it takes centre stage at Sydney Motorsport Park, on May 18, it’ll be in prime-time, under lights, for the fourth year in succession.
Lendrive Finance have come on board as an event sponsor, and have put $2500 up for grabs before the race even gets underway. The fastest car, in each division*, in three-part qualifying, will pocket $500.
Situated in a vast array of Sydney suburbs, Lendrive Finance specialises in Car and Asset Finance, as well as Business and Personal Loans.

The qualifying format, first used at Sydney Motorsport Park in 2019, remains unchanged for 2024. A three-part, knockout session, with the full field to hit the circuit for the first stanza, after which the bottom 40% of the grid will be locked in. The top 60% will progress to Q2, while just the top 20% (of the total grid number) will contest Q3.
The field will be split into FIVE divisions in 2024, as it has been since the inception of the Pitcher Partners Sydney 300.
*As always, offers like this come with terms and conditions, which competitors will be able to view in the Pitcher Partners Sydney 300 supplementary regulations, via the MRA website.
Stay tuned, more exciting news and sponsor announcements to come, right here, for the next five days, ahead of entries opening at 10am AEST, on Monday.
